About two weeks ago, two stray kittens showed up at my house. I kept one and the other I gave to a friend. They were both fine, just skinny and hungry. The one
I gave to my friend, all of a sudden can't hold her head up (she has it kind of cocked to one side), her eyes are shaking (like nerve damage or something),
won't walk, and won't eat or drink. Does this sound like a feline disease or like a broken neck or something. Please let me know. My friend is worried
but can't afford to take it to a vet. Thank you

I don't know a darn thing about cats but while at the university vet I saw a very sick cat in the waiting room and it had a head tilt. I don't remember
the name of the disease they were discussing but I know it was serious. I'm afraid the poor little kitten needs to see a vet one way or another.
There's no way the kitten can be helped on this forum. It sounds like a true emergency to me so perhaps you could chip in to get the cat a consult.

I can't even guess what problem is, but true is correct that the kitten needs to be seen by a vet asap. If nothing else, they should take it to a shelter.
They will likely euthanize the kitten, but if your friend can't afford proper care that may be the kindest alternative. I don't make this suggestion
easily, but what you describe sounds serious. Or like true suggested, you could split the cost of an exam.

I have seen this before, but all the causes... infections which are dire emergencies.

I would get the cat to a vet, it could be vestibular(inner ear) which causes those symptoms, or it could be neurological, could be toxoplasmosis which you can
find out with a blood test, your best bet is to have a vet check her out, good luck, let us know.
