I have 4 male kittens (born approximately April 1st). The runt is mentally and physically stunted. He's smaller than the others, not as intelligent (can't remember commands or his name), play style is stuck at batting dangling objects, and continually tries to nurse off of his brothers and mom.

The largest male, who may be the most intelligent, pinned down the runt today and humped him. At first I thought they were just playing like usual, but I checked and his little penis was out. And the whole thing was one-sided rather than the 2 of them romping around.

Does this mean that he's sexually mature? Will it mean that he's going to start spraying? It seems like it is too early for him to be able to do this- unless his age is completely wrong?

Some thoughts on this would be great. I'm not sure what this means, if I should worry, or what to do about it.

I'm going to call the rescue tmr and see if this can be grounds for getting these boys neutered- they refused when I asked before because they prefer to wait till they're 6 months old. They'd rather they be adopted and the adopter incur the fees.
